RPCVCO Grants $2000 to 3 Peace Corps Projects

At the annual board retreat this past weekend, the RPCVs of Colorado (RPCVCO) granted over $2,000 from the Don Curtis Giving Fund to 3 current Peace Corps Volunteer (PCV) projects. Money from the Don Curtis Giving Fund comes from the sale of Peace Corps calendars and other merchandise. Two of the projects had ties to Colorado (the current PCV is from Colorado), while the third project's focus was related to our 3 year area of focus on gender and health issues.

While we were able to provide the remaining funding needed for the gender and health project on RUMPs, the two projects by Colorado volunteers still need additional funding. Please consider contributing to these great projects and support currently serving Colorado PCVs.

  • Toilets R 4 Us, Lesotho: Builds toilets for a local high school. RPCVCO gave $400 to support this project. Click here for more information. This project STILL NEEDS FUNDING.
