The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Colorado (RPCVCO) are proud to host “Partnering for Prosperity”, a social entrepreneurship competition to be held in conjunction with National Peace Corps Association’s (NPCA) annual conference, Peace Corps Connect. The Partnering for Prosperity competition builds on the conference theme, “Partnering for Progress: Taking Collaborations to New Heights”, and will challenge applicants to submit their best ideas, projects or programs that exemplify partnership and collaboration, and impact the world around us.
After service, many Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) choose to start, work with, or volunteer for nonprofit organizations that work on local, state, national, or international issues. This event seeks to provide funding for a project or program for nonprofits with ties to the Peace Corps community.
Competition winners will receive a monetary award. Two awards will be given: the Judges’ Award and the Audience Choice Award, both of at least $2,500 in value.
This competition will showcase the work of Peace Corps community entrepreneurs at a national level and provide opportunity to amplify the impact of the competitor’s initiatives.
